Who we are

Funny Video Clips is a YouTube channel that posts a daily compilation of funny videos. This policy covers our submission page, our Google Form, and the small app we use to build and upload our videos.

What we collect

• When you send us a video through our Google Form: the name or @handle you give us, the video file, your optional description, and your permission to use the video. Google requires you to sign in to upload a file, so Google also records which Google account sent it.
• We don't use cookies or trackers on this website.

How we use it

• To edit your video into our compilations and Shorts and post them on YouTube and other platforms.
• To credit you on screen and in the video description using the name or @handle you gave us.

YouTube API Services

Funny Video Clips uses YouTube API Services. By using our services you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube is a Google service, so information processed through the YouTube API is also covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Our app and Google data

Our app is an internal tool used only by the owner of the Funny Video Clips channel. It signs in only to our own Google account and YouTube channel. It does not let anyone else sign in, and it never accesses other people's Google or YouTube accounts.

The app uses the YouTube API only to upload our own compilation videos and Shorts to our own channel and to set their titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and our channel's branding. It does not download, copy or reuse anyone's YouTube videos.

Our clips come from:

• videos people send us through our submission form, which the app reads from our own Google Drive and Google Sheets;
• clips we license from video licensing services, or that creators give us written permission to use;
• openly licensed videos from Wikimedia Commons (CC BY, CC0 or public domain only);
• free stock videos from Pexels and Pixabay, used under their licenses.

We credit the creator of every clip.

The app stores its Google sign-in tokens and a short list of which clips it has already used on our own computer. We don't sell, rent or share any of this data, and we don't use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use trackers. The app does not place cookies or similar technology on anyone's device.

Keeping and deleting data

• Data we get from the YouTube API (such as the ID of each video we upload) is used only to run our own channel, and is deleted or refreshed within 30 days unless it is the ID of our own video.
• Downloaded clips are deleted once the day's video is uploaded. We keep only a clip's ID, so the same clip isn't used twice.
• Form submissions are kept only as long as we need them for our videos. Email us and we'll delete yours within 7 days and take your video down.
• You can revoke our app's access to a Google account at any time from the Google security settings page.
